Bea came to us last spring, when she was fending for herself and her litter of 8 puppies in the woods. A woman called to tell us about a skinny pit bull she caught eating cat food on her porch, so we went to check things out. After a little exploring, we saw Bea laying under a log with her 4 week-old puppies. She was too terrified to come to us, and because of the cold rain, we had to take her pups to safety immediately. After a few attempts, we were able to also take Bea to safety and the reunion was beautiful!!! She was the best mama. All of Bea's puppies have now been adopted and she is ready for her forever home! Bea is smart, sweet and very loving. She loves to play fetch with her stuffed rabbit, but also enjoys snuggling with you on the couch or in bed. She would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a best friend! Bea would do best as the only pet in the household. |
